Microsoft Unrolls Dynamic Remarketing, LinkedIn Profile Targeting & In-market

Microsoft is actively chasing that piece of the global marketing cake and with the new batch of handy features, they are in for a hefty dessert.

Dynamic remarketing is basically what Facebook, Instagram and the rest of the gang are already doing, but this time the power is in your hands. You can target buyers based on products they’ve browsed, considered, or already purchased.

LinkedIn Profile targeting will enable you to pinpoint just the right audience for your business or product.

In addition to English, now you can use In-market Audiences for French and German markets. This release includes 100+ French and 200+ German audiences designed to maximize conversions across verticals such as Apparel, Auto, Financial Services, Home & Garden, Travel and many more.

Three New Features for Company Pages at LinkedIn

The current pandemic has created quite a ruckus, causing companies high and low to adjust to the new, mostly remote mode of work. LinkedIn is no exception.

A recent survey done by Glint shows the following:

  • 31% of employees feel less connected to leaders.
  • 37% of employees feel less connected to teammates.
  • 40% of employees feel less connected to their own friends.

“With a growing number of organizations announcing that their employees are required to work remotely until 2021, it’s more important than ever for organizations to take action and ensure their teams will thrive in a virtual work environment.”

These new LinkedIn features have been created with an idea to further connect businesses and their communities.

View page followers feature allows companies to see individuals following their page.

My company tab makes you feel more at the office from your home – you can celebrate a colleague’s birthdays, congratulate them on their achievements etc.

New features include:

  • Highlighting employee milestones (promotions, anniversaries, new hires, etc.)
  • Trending content from coworkers.
  • Recommendations to connect with people you may know at your company.

Virtual Events option is another way for your employees to come together at least online.

Google Ads to Start Hiding Some Search Query Data

It’s official – queries without a significant amount of data will be shown in query reports no more.

Once again, Google has underhanded us a Search Term update.

Even if you click on “Learn More”, you will have a hard time finding the update – it’s at the bottom of the article of the existing Google support piece about Search Terms.

The announcement offers no further explanation about what will be considered “significant.”

TikTok Has a New Marketing Partner Program for Advertisers

TikTok is working on maximizing its marketing potential by introducing Marketing Partner Program.

As the guys behind TikTok claim:

“We’re building new opportunities for marketers to be creative storytellers and meaningfully engage with the TikTok community [and] we’re thrilled to collaborate with some of the most strategic and trusted leaders in the advertising industry and continue giving marketers access to more tools to successfully create, measure and optimize ad campaigns on TikTok.”

This new program strives to maximize the brand’s goal achievement on the platform and, as they announced, they already have 20 certified partners ranging in social media marketing expertise.

Twitch Watch Parties Available to Creators Around the World

Last fall, the Amazon-owned company started testing a new feature called “Watch Parties,” which allows creators to stream Amazon Prime Video content to Amazon Prime viewers.

Basically, you can now watch what you love, share your screen, invite people to join your watch party and get some love and support from the online community.
